TC Clamps

Tri-Clamp clamps – also referred to as sanitary clamps – made of stainless-steel are being used on systems, pipes and vessels to close and secure Tri-Clamp connections tightly. Therefore, the clamp is positioned around two Tri-Clamp flanges that have a gasket between them. Once the clamp is in position and has been closed, the connection is secured by tightening the wing nut. This creates a secure and smooth connection between the two Tri-Clamp flanges.

Information about TC Clamps

Nowadays, Tri-Clamp connections are inevitable in the pharmaceutical and also biotechnological industry and have proven to be a reliable standard over the years. This is mainly due to their simple handling and the possibility to use numerous different gasket materials. Furthermore, Tri-Clamp connections create a nearly completely smooth surface within the pipe, prevent dead spots or biofilms and allow also a safe and easy cleanability. We offer a variety of different types of TC clamps made of stainless-steel. For instance, clamps made of three parts and two hinges, clamps for high pressure applications that needs to be tightened with a tool and also a variety of different nuts. This allows us to always offer the right clamps for your processes and fulfill also all requirements.

All Tri-Clamp clamps can be individually engraved by laser and marked with additional information. This simplifies the identification and reduces application errors.

The GMPTEC sanitary clamps made of stainless-steel are suitable for all flanges following the common standards, for example DIN 32676, ISO 2852, ISO 1127, BS4825 and ASME BPE.

They are also compliant to the international standard material conformities and you will receive also a 3.1 certificate of material with every delivery. The standard material for the sanitary clamps is stainless-steel 1.4301. Other materials are available upon request.
