Information about the Sterile Couplers AseptiQuik S, G & L

The AseptiQuik series S, G and L are Sterile Couplers for the use of connection individual systems or components sterilely with each other in an unsterile environment. The necessary steps are simple and will be additionally confirmed by a hearable click sound. First, the security caps have to be loosened on both halves, then the Sterile Couplers have to be positioned towards each other. Next, both halves have to be pushed into another until a click sound can be heard. After that, the security caps have to be squeezed together and pulled out to remove the membranes paper. Now the connection is executed sterile. 

The housing of the AseptiQuik S, G and L is made of a polycarbonate that is conform to USP class VI. The gaskets of the Sterile Couplers are made of platinum cured silicone and are also meeting the requirements of USP class VI.

Types of AseptiQuik

AseptiQuik S is the available small diameter option. It fits for tubings with an inner diameter of 3.2 mm and higher. For the midfield is the AseptiQuik G and offers a broad range of diameters and connections. And the AseptiQuik L fits for large tubings and volumes with an inner diameter of up to 25.4mm (1”). 

The AseptiQuik S, G and L can also be gamma-sterilized up to 50 kGy and are perfect for ready-to-use assemblies. The series S and G additionally have high temperature (HT) models, which are autoclavable. 

Also, the production and repackaging of the AseptiQuik Sterile Couplers happen in a strictly controlled ISO class 7 clean room in order to guarantee a product quality that meets the highest requirements.
