Sanitary fittings made of stainless-steel are the base for many pharmaceutical and biotechnological processes, systems and vessels. By using Tri-Clamps, aseptic connections can be made very quickly and easily, which assures a safe process and the high quality of the final product.

Information about Sanitary Fittings

Sanitary Fittings have become the standard in the pharmaceutical-, biotechnological- and also in the food industry over the past years. They offer the possibility to use a big variety of different gasket materials and are therefore suiting a broad range of processes and also products. Moreover, Tri-Clamp connections create an almost smooth surface within the pipe, which makes them easily cleanable and also guarantees a low risk of contamination.

GMPTEC offers a broad Tri-Clamp portfolio, covering every type of components necessary for modern productions. The selection of sanitary fittings includes flanges, arches, tee-pieces, reducers, also blind covers and many more.

In the following you will find a selection of possible types of sanitary fittings:

  • DIN 32676 Series A (short & long)
  • DIN 32676 Series B (short & long)
  • DIN 32676 Series C (short & long)
  • ISO 2852
  • BS 4825 / ASME BPE

Further fittings and special sizes are available on request.

The GMPTEC sanitary fittings are compliant to all common material standards and you will also receive a 3.1 material certification with every delivery. The material of Tri-Clamp fittings is stainless steel 1.4404 by default. Also materials – like stainless steel 1.4301 or Hastelloy – are available on request.

The standard surface of the sanitary fittings complies with the requirements of hygiene class 3. Versions with electro polished surface are also available upon request! All ASME BPE fittings are available with SF1 and SF4 surface finish. This means that the inner surface roughness equals Ra < 0,5 µm (SF1) or Ra < 0,375 µm (SF4).

If you wish, we can mark or label the stainless steel fittings by laser engraving. This makes every fitting easy to identify or also allocate at any time.
