When choosing single-use filters, it’s most important to not select oversized filters or transfer them from another application. A smaller filter is generally less expensive than a larger one of the same type. Additionally, you should be using filters with hose barbs whenever possible. This allows to cut out additional components like sanitary clamps, gaskets and sanitary flange adapters, which would increase the overall costs.
